Training
There are two club sessions a week, both starting from Havant Leisure Centre:
Tuesdays 6:30pm Social run in groups, 4 to 8 miles
Thursdays 6pm Main group training session
For the Tuesday runs, newcomers should be able to jog or run 3 to 4 miles.
The Thursday evening training, under the guidance of one of the qualified club coaches, is more appropriate for beginners.
These sessions are carefully designed to offer a challenge to everyone - whatever their level of fitness or ability - as they can be tailored for both the ultra-fit and the total novice.
During the summer months, as a variation on the Thursday evening training schedule, the club runs a 'short' and a 'long' handicap race series, designed to give each participating member an equal opportunity to win.

Other activities and events
Many members compete in local races from 5 kilometers to full marathons and beyond -
with some venturing further afield, even to the occasional international event!
Races may be road, cross-country or multi-terrain events.
The club subscribes to local leagues, including the highly-popular Today's Runner Cross Country League,
a series aimed at average-to-slow runners (a threshold is set so faster runners are excluded!).
Several summer charity relay events are particularly popular.
The club also arranges social events and the occasional countryside summer evening run based at a suitable pub.
