'Couch to 5k' and 'Victory to 10k' running programmes.
New Course starts 12th January 2016

Victory AC prides inself on being a 'club for all'!
We have members of all running abilities and the overriding attitude is that we are all sharing our enjoyment for the same thing. We do have members who have won medals at International events and competed in Team GB, and we also have members who just come along for the companionship of running with others and to keep fit. With the full range of runner in between!
Several of our current membership have taken up running after completing 'new runner' course or followeed the NHS promoted 'Couch to 5k' scheme.

Victory AC recognise the benefit of the Couch to 5k scheme and are delighted that our coaching team are once again providing a nine week course, starting on 12th January 2016.

It will take place on Tuesday evenings, 6.30pm - 7.30pm from Havant Leisure Centre (the same time and place as the main Victory AC Club run). The first session will be Tuesday 12th January 2016.

There is no cost, though all participants must be members of Victory AC for the duration

This is just £16 pa, and membership forms can be downloaded from here.

If you are interested in joining, please contact us. All you need is a pair of trainers and the desire to start running....

Following on from our C25K course, we will, starting on Tuesday 5th April 2016,
be organising another follow on course to take you gently from 5k to 10k distance.
This is aimed at individuals who can run 5k but not 10k,
allowing them to feel confident to undertake the D-Day 10k on the 5th June and/or The Hayling Billy 5 mile on 8th June.

For more information about our C25K and 5 to 10k courses, please email:

Club Member of the Month

Victory AC is a club that recognises the success of every runner, no matter what events they enter, long or short or the times that they achieve, be it slow or fast.

We also have many members that contribute to the club in so many different ways, either through volunteering or supporting events.

To celebrate the achievements and contributions of our members, Vicotry AC has a 'Club Member of the Month' award, which is presented on the training session on the last Thursday of each month.

The recipient receives certificate with a citation describing their success or contribution, together with a voucher to the value of £25 from a local running shop.

More details and previous award recipients are on the
Club Member of the Month page.

What We Do

As a club we meet at Havant Leisure Centre. On a Tuesday at 6:30PM, for an informal 'let's go for a run' type session and on Thursday at 6PM for an organised training session, normally taken by a SEAA qualified coach.

We compete in a wide range of on and off road events. Ranging from traditional road races such as the Stubbington 10K and the Great South Run to the wet and boggy delights of both the Hampshire Cross Country League and 'Today's Runner' Cross-Country League.

During the summer months we organise a number of 'handicap' races designed to give all members of the club regardless of ability the chance to compete in a competition that is designed to be as even as possible.
